The Challenge
Partnering with the Tablelands Regional Council, c7even took on a bold three-year challenge: craft a powerful destination-marketing strategy that sparks curiosity, deepens engagement, and turns fleeting interest into extended stays, boosting overnight visitation and breathing new life into local communities.
Nestled in Far North Queensland, the Atherton Tablelands is a hidden sanctuary of lush rainforests, dramatic mountain panoramas, and cascading waterfalls. But despite its breathtaking beauty, this region needed to transform casual passers-by into devoted visitors who would linger, explore, and fall in love with its untamed charm.

Our Approach
Our team immersed themselves in the region’s stories, uncovering its lush rainforests, dramatic landscapes, and hidden gems. From there, we built a campaign that invited people to dream bigger and stay longer. A beautifully designed microsite became the gateway to discovery, complete with insider tips and a downloadable guide that felt like a secret shared. Striking imagery transported audiences into the heart of the Tablelands, while social content and influencer partnerships brought authentic voices to the conversation, voices that inspired trust and adventure.
Behind the scenes, smart search optimization ensured we reached travelers at the perfect moment: when they were imagining their next escape. Every element worked together to create not just awareness, but desire, a longing to experience the Tablelands for themselves.
