The Voice Of Region is a national survey of people who live and work in regional, rural and remote Australia. We want to hear how you feel about the future of your town or region, the biggest challenges facing your community, and where you get your news and information.
Regional Australia is often talked about but rarely asked. The findings will be shared in a report in early 2027, giving communities, local businesses, industry and decision makers a clearer, first-hand picture of regional priorities.
Who can take part?
Anyone aged 18 or over who lives or works in regional, rural or remote Australia.
How long will it take?
The survey will take under 10 minutes on your phone, tablet or computer.

Your answers are grouped with everyone else’s. We don’t publish individual responses.
What happens next?
Once the survey closes, we’ll share the findings in The Voice Of Region report in early 2027.
